The network port for many residence halls will be changed from 10 Mbps, half-duplex to 10 Mbps, auto duplex. This change is being done to improve the support for newer systems that no longer accept 10 Mbps, half-duplex settings. No service interruption is expected - users should see at most a brief drop of their network link as the maintenance is completed. The residence halls affected by this change include Holmes Hall, Hubbard Hall, McDonel Hall, Shaw Hall, Mason Hall, Snyder/Phillips Hall, and the West Circle complex.
