On Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 11:45 AM, an incident was reported that impacts two-factor (2FA) text notifications for Sprint users. The two-factor text messages are either delayed or not delivered. The service providers are aware and they are working to resolve the incident. The next update will be provided at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

Users can use an alternate credential for two-factor authentication instead, if one was previously setup, or request a temporary code from the MSU IT Service Desk by calling 517-432-6200. It is also strongly encouraged that users download and use the VIP Access two-factor mobile application, on smartphones or tablets, instead.
